When the download completes, on the computer desktop, double-click the USBDRVEN icon.
In the USB Driver Software window, click the OK button.
NOTE: The driver will extract, and create a folder on the computer desktop named Sony_usb.

Double-click the Sony_usb folder.
In the Sony_usb window, double-click the Setup icon.
In the InstallShield Wizard window, click the Next button.
In the Information window, click the Next button.
NOTE: The USB driver will now copy to the computer.

In the InstallShield Wizard Complete window, click to select Yes, I want to restart my computer now, then click the Finish button.

1. Download the driver (it worked for both our xp and vista machines).
2. Turn off the phone.
3. connect the usb
4. turn on the phone…surprise the computers find it now! and the driver should install
5. go to the phone and do the only step included in the manual…..pull down on the notification bar at the top by the usb symbol and press “mount”.
6. windows media player will now see the phone and you can sync your stuff.

3. Go to Device Manager and then choose to update the driver for the device which has a yellow exclamation icon
4. Choose to browse your computer for the drivers and point the wizard to the “drivers” folder you extracted from the zip file.
